Isn’t the cup of blessing that we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Isn’t the loaf of bread that we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Since there is one loaf of bread, we who are many are one body, because we all share the one loaf of bread.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to them, and said, ‘Take; this is my body.’ He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. After he took his seat at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

He was pierced because of our rebellions and crushed because of our crimes.He bore the punishment that made us whole; by his wounds we are healed.

But if we live in the light in the same way as he is in the light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from every sin.

On the first day of the week, as we gathered together for a meal, Paul was holding a discussion with them. Since he was leaving the next day, he continued talking until midnight.

Every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you broadcast the death of the Lord until he comes.

Each individual should test himself or herself, and eat from the bread and drink from the cup in that way.

Instead, encourage each other every day, as long as it’s called ‘today,’ so that none of you become insensitive to God because of sin’s deception.

The bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever, and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.

Don’t you have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you look down on God’s churches and humiliate those who have nothing? What can I say to you? Will I praise you? No, I don’t praise you in this.
