Nicole Kidman couldn't be prouder of her husband Keith Urban's latest accomplishment.

On August 4, news broke that the country singer would be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 11. Making it into the Contemporary Songwriter/Artist category, he will receive the award alongside Kix Brooks (of Brooks and Dunn fame), Casey Beathard, David Lee Murphy and Rafe Van Hoy. This marks a huge moment in Keith's career, as he'll join a plethora of previously inducted other country stars, like Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson.

A few days after the announcement came out about Keith's latest career achievement, Nicole went on her Instagram story to spread the love for her husband. "Congratulations baby!!" the Special Ops: Lioness star wrote on August 7. "What an incredible honor xx. 🎉💋🎶🤍."

While Nicole and Keith's loyal fanbase is certainly thrilled, the "Wild Hearts" artist got emotional about what this honor means to him. In a statement obtained by Billboard, he spoke about the early days of his music career and how incredible it is to be honored alongside Kix, who helped him along the way.

"Kix was one of the first that came along, who sat at [Nashville venue] Jack’s Guitar Bar to hear me play, and later took me on tour," he explained to Kix. "He’s been a champion ever since. I’m honored to be here with you."
