Fans and celebrities are sending their love to Katharine McPhee and her family.

The singer and actress, who was on tour in Asia with her husband, musician and songwriter, David Foster, posted to Instagram letting fans know that she would not be at the last two shows due to a "horrible tragedy."

“Dearest Jakarta fans, it’s with heavy heart I announce I have to miss our final two shows of our Asia run. David and I have had a horrible tragedy in our family and at least one of us needs to get back home to our family. Please know how sorry I am and how much I wish to return one day and perform for you all. Love Katharine."

While it's unclear what the tragic event was, fans were quick to rally around the Fosters. "So sorry to hear! Take care of your family first," one person wrote. "Oh I’m so sorry .. sending love to you both," said another.

Celebrities also dropped messages to the "Country Comfort" star. Nicole Scherzinger wrote, "Sending my love and prayers for your family," while David's ex-wife, Linda Thompson, commented, "Sending you and David love, & hoping that everything is OK."

Katharine and David married in 2019, and have one child together, a son.
